Job 2:3 – “…you incited Me against him…

Then the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil? And still he holds fast to his integrity, although you incited Me against him, to destroy him without cause.” – Job 2:3

This verse tells us that Satan “incited” God…We may not be able to answer the typical questions “why did God allow sin…“, “how is it that Satan is sinful and yet able to appear before God…“, etc.

But one thing we understand here – Satan is rebellious, proud and constantly trying to challenge God. He is evil. He is sinful. We should have nothing to do with him at all.
