You may have read that it is good to eat a small portion before you exercise because this initiates the metabolic process and can help your body burn more when you work out. But studies are now telling us that it is ok, and in fact better that you exercise on an empty stomach because this causes your body to mobilise and burn its reserve when you exercise. I think that the right thing to do is to listen to your body. If you are hungry, eat a little before you start. If you don’t feel hungry, just proceed. What is your experience? Do share!
