Seniors are pointing the way to fitness!

First, there was this 62 yr-old ex-Marine who set the world record for planking (at 8hr15min). Now, we see this 73yr old who celebrated his birthday by doing 100 push-ups that raised $237K for the Prison Fellowship.

I am glad that these seniors are setting an example of fitness pursuits. It is not surprising that average life expectancy is now moving towards the high 80s. There is definitely a trend towards fitness and health interests & practices. Let’s hope this will spur even more middle-age people to give attention to this very important aspect of our lives.
