It is mid-July 2020. Jeff Bezos, owner of Amazon.com, leads as the richest person in the world at $189B. His fortune is $73B ahead of Bill Gates, who is in 2nd position at $116B.
Warren Buffett, who used to be amongst the top few with Bill Gates has given away more than $37B since 2006. He is now in 10th position with $69.2B.
I am reminded that none of them will leave this earth with any of this fortune. Humbling thought.
