The research is telling us that we need to get sufficient exercise. Modern lifestyle keeps us seated to do our work most of the time. This may be aggravated by the recent coronavirus lockdown. But we needn’t to take heed that all these sitting down is not helpful for us.
Stand up, walk around and take a break after sitting down for more than half an hour. If it helps, wear a tracking device that beeps after you have been seated for too long a duration. Better still, get some daily exercise by running or walking. This is not a trivial matter. Once it becomes an issue, it is very hard to rewind. Please take heed!
