Don’t think of the future bank as a physical branch with tellers and seats. The future is digital. Banking must transcend the current physical limitations and reach out to the consumer at every point of his life. For example, when you go into a car showroom, your bank should sense it and prompt you with suggestions of car loans, assessments of the value of your existing car, etc. Obviously, this will require coordination with car retailers and other merchants. But that’s where the digital bank can overcome all the limitations and not need a physical branch to deal with their customers.
