Singapore scientists harvests sunlight for underground lighting

Using smart devices and fibre optics cables, scientists from the Nanyang Technological University of Singapore have managed to relay sunlight to proving lighting underground, thereby eliminating the need for electricity to power the lighting requirements. Interesting.
